Everlasting Treasure Box
of Flowers

(Skill level - beginner)
Enjoy creating this fresh arrangement that will dry and stay looking lovely for several months in a special keepsake box.
Materials Needed:
  • 1 hinged box
  • fresh floral foam
  • short stemmed flowers of your choosing
  • ribbon - approximately 2 yards (depending on size of box)
  • plastic liner (to protect box)
  • optional gem accessory
Step #1: Prepare Box
  1. Choose hinged box at least 5" x 9" and at least 3" deep.
  2. Line with plastic liner.
  3. Fill entire liner with floral foam to about 1" below lip of box.
Step #2: Add Flowers
  1. Make a design using short stem colorful flowers (small round flowers work well). Make sure that you are able to close lid of box.
  2. Insert shortened stem of flowers into the floral foam.
Step #3: Add Ribbon
  1. Close lid.
  2. Make a hand-tied bow with ribbon.
  3. Add gems if desired.
  4. Flowers will dry in place and look nice for several months for an everlasting gift in a keepsake box!
