Floral Outdoor Tabletop Wreath

- One 8" diameter Oasis foam wreath with plastic back
- Flowers: Any seasonal flowers such as carnations, dahlia, solidago, baker fern and ivy.
- Cut oasis ring in half using scissors.
- Soak oasis ring in water until air bubbles subside.
- Using baker fern or other greens, place selected cut stems into oasis until totally covered. ("Green" interior of ring lightly, keeping in mind that your umbrella pole will be in the way.)
- Place larger flowers such as carnations or dahlias in each side. (Be careful not to poke stems through to other side of ring as they will not get to the water inside of oasis ring.)
- Add smaller flowers such as solidago.
- A flower such as solidago has many chutes.
Cut top quarter of solidage to use in arrangement while also using lower laterals as individual pieces. - Strip small leaves from lower laterals, insert into ring where necessary to fill in.
- Continue with your second flower, such as aster (melka), in the same manner as in step #3. Fill in any remaining areas.
- Wrap both oasis floral pieces around umbrella pole on picnic table.
- Display and enjoy!
