Easter Kids Craft: Flower Bunny

(Skill level - beginner)
Materials Needed:
  • colored foil to match pipe cleaners
  • 1 yd. ribbon to match pipe cleaners
  • 1 white football mum
  • pair of googly eyes
  • hot glue
  • Easter grass
  • greens
  • small piece of wire
  • 5 pipe cleaners (chenille stems) -
    3 colored, 2 white
  • 3 round toothpicks
  • roll of floral tape
  • 1 straight pin
  • 1 small white pom-pom
  • small piece of oasis
  • small dish
Step #1: Prepare Mum
  1. Tape oasis into container.
  2. Cut Football Mum to 2" stem.
  3. Insert stem into oasis.
Step #2: Create Ears and Face
  1. Take 2 colored pipe cleaners and 2 white, bend into a loop and tape ends with floral tape onto toothpick.
  2. Insert into oasis behind football mum.
  3. Take 1 pipe cleaner, cut into thirds, twist in the middle. Insert with pin into center of mum.
  4. Hot glue pom-pom in center to hide pinhead.
  5. Hot glue googly eyes on mum in appropriate spot.
Step #3: Add Ribbon
  1. Gather ribbon into a bow with wire and attach toothpick with floral tape.
  2. Insert into oasis underneath mum.
Step #4: Add Foil, Easter Grass and Greens
  1. Cover dish with foil and curl out sides.
  2. Add greens and Easter grass to fill in back.
  3. Keep watered and enjoy!
