Spring Wreath
This month's idea by Mary Roylance
(Skill level - beginner)

|
Materials Needed: |
|
|
|
 |
|
|
|
- 1 18" - 24" Grapevine or Birch wreath
- 4 yards ribbon - 1 1/2" wide
- 6 multi-bloom permanent botanical (silk) stems - medium heads work best - choose your color scheme
- 2 Butterflies
- 1 Ivy plant
- Hot glue gun
- Glue sticks
- Wire (optional)
- Wire cutters

Step #1: Double Shoestring Bow |
|
|
|
- Cut ribbon into two equal pieces.
- Tie bow as if tying a shoe.
- Arrange loops; leave streamers.
- Position in desired area of wreath.
|
|
| Step #2: Add Flowers |
|
|
|
 |
|
|
- Cut individual flowers off main stem
leaving approximately 2" on each florette.
- Using a glue gun, put glue on each florette stem.
- Attach to wreath going around wreath alternating different kinds of flowers.
- If desired, attach floral greens in same manner.

Step #3: Adding Ivy (use any variety) |
|
|
- Clip 6" - 10" ivy pieces
- Hot glue ends onto wreath going around flowers.
|
|
|
|
 |
|
|
Step #4: Adding Butterflies |
|
|
|
- Attach butterflies using either glue or wire to wreath in desired location.
- Birds and nests can also be added: improvise and have fun!
